SOCRI S.p.A. presents POLYSOL® PGA: an innovative natural solubilizer as an alternative to PEGs. It is obtained from the esterification of polyglycerol with vegetable fatty acids, and of proline, a lipoamino acid derived from the acylation of vegetable fatty acids. Proline confers to the product moisturising and refreshing properties, in addition to a better solubilizing efficacy thanks to the synergy with the ester.
POLYSOL® PGA is well-suited for the solubilization of essential oils, vitamins and liposoluble active ingredients.
It works well across a wide range of pH values, including in the presence of mildly cationic substances, offering an efficacious “natural” alternative to traditional solubilizing agents.
