Derived from yeast (e.g Saccharomyces cerevisiae), yeast extract is a mixture of flavonoids, sugars, vitamins, and amino acids. It contains a high concentration of antioxidants, capable of neutralizing harmful free-radicals present in the environment maintaining the skin’s overall quality and appearance, but also improving it with its moisturizing and soothing properties. 

Yeast extract can induce a calming effect reducing the amount of oxidative stress that occurs on the skin, soothing and alleviating problematic skin.
